Only one can be the Grim at any given time. It’s intended and created this way to maintain balance. The 7 are to work collectively to keep the worlds neutral. The more souls one gathers, the more recognition a Reaper gains. The less souls one gathers, the more they become suitable for damnation and exiled from existence. Being forced to be judged by the souls they have collected as punishment. As our story begins…
